Salmon Flies

Salmon Fly Fishing is a challenge which pardon the pun, simply gets you hooked :) There are hundreds of salmon flies on the market today, with UV and vibrant colours and claim to be the only ones that work. Have we not always had a day when one fly brings in fish after fish then the next day not a sausage. This is simply down to behaviour and hunger. If salmon are hungry they will strike at any fly and on picky days we know we can stand all day and wonder what we are doing wrong. I am a believer in simply having a range of salmon flies in your box, and be prepared to swap around. We stock the traditional patterns which we know work, the Allys for instance has to be one of the most popular salmon flies, we have a range of colours with a selection of double and treble hooks.
