Please note there are still disruptions within the Royal Mail network and so postage may take longer than usual despite us using first class postage. If your order has not arrived within 7 working days of dispatch please get in touch

1. Orders

Orders can be made in the following ways:

·        Online using the shopping basket using a Mastercard, Visa or Switch card via our secure server. Paypal is now accepted

·        By Post, cheque or postal order made payable to Troutflies.

·         Customers from outside the UK can pay by International Money Order in Pounds Sterling.

·        By telephone or fax.

If you need any advice before purchasing then please telephone, fax or e-mail us and we will do our utmost to help you.

Please remember to give your full name and address to ensure there is no delay in dispatching the goods. This must be the same as the cardholder for security reasons.

On occasions when an item is out of stock we may replace it with a similar item rather than hold up your order. Specific items not in stock will be ordered in and we will treat them as a "to follow" item rather than hold up your whole order


2. Prices

Items are priced accordingly, special offers will be clearly detailed on our product pages


3. Delivery

All our flies are held in stock. If they do become out of stock the item will not add to your basket. Fly Tying materials are often ordered in for you and may take slightly longer for dispatch, if you do have an urgent order requiring next day delivery follow your order through with an email and we will advise you if it is possible.

We endeavour to dispatch goods on the day the order is received. If any particular item is temporarily out of stock we will place it on back order and send it on to you as soon as it is received unless you notify us that you no longer want the item.

5. Taxes

The customer is responsible for payment of any local taxes or duties levied. All our Invoices are inclusive of VAT. The registration number is 129 7648 73


6. Returns Policy

Customers have the right to cancel an order within seven days of placing the order, or within seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). Customers cancelling their orders will have their payment refunded in full - minus shipping costs - within seven days of the company's receipt of the returned goods. In the event that you receive a faulty or incorrect product please contact us withiun 7 days of reciept of the goods to arrange a return for exchange or refund. 


Contact us by one of the methods below stating the nature of the problem and we will issue you with a returns number to ensure you are refunded or have your goods replaced.

8. MONTHLY Fly Subscriptions 
By purchasing a month to month subscription, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. Your subscription will be automatically extended for successive monthly periods, at the original subscription rate. Your credit card will be charged every calendar month. You will be sent a selection of flies shortly after your payment has been processed.  To cancel your monthly subscription at any time, use the unsubscribe link on this page or email us at sales@troutflies.co.uk and we will do it for you. You can also handle your subscriptions from your PayPal account directly. 

All subscriptions between 7th November - 6th March will automatically be switched to still water options unless cancelled.

All subscriptions that are signed up before the 6th of the month will go out on the 7th (or the Monday thereafter if over a weekend)
Payments are made through PayPal and are taken on the same day as signing up each month.

Once purchasing a 6 or 12 month subscription it cannot be cancelled during the time it is active, you can switch between still water and river sets if you wish, simply email us on sales@troutflies.co.uk to do this. 

Once the period of 6/12 months is up you will no longer receive the subscription box and you will be responsible for purchasing another subscription should you wish to continue.

I am organising a charity event, can I get a donation?

We were receiving many requests for charity donations and were unfortunately unable to meet them all. We are now making an annual single monetary donation to charity and will not be able to fulfil any donation requests. For 2019 we have donated to Cancer Research

Shopping Basket Emptying 

Our website is designed to run as fast as possible so to ensure an efficient service your shopping basket will empty after 1 hour of shopping. If we were to hold all items in all guest baskets it may slow down our website. To avoid this from happening simply log into your account before you start adding to your basket, this will save all items in your basket until you are ready to check out.
