CDC Hares Ear Shuttlecock
The dressing including the CDC feather taken from the area around the ducks oil gland and the fiberous body make sure it stays on top. The thorax can have a little floatant added if the fly has had a lot of use but DO NOT get any on the CDC feathers. The shuttlecock floats on top and the body is suspended at an angle below in a very natural looking way.
